After painting for six years, Kendrick Rudolph has made the transition to full-time artist.

He actually made the move about a year and a half ago. It’s a decision that has affected his life in the most positive way, he shared, “changing his life only for the better.”

Kendrick pulls from real life as he conceptualizes his paintings. He experiments with bright colors, shapes and perspectives to create the unique work we featured in the Artist Spotlight of Issue 19 “Make/Do”.

Left: Homage, Right: The Motto

My work is often inspired by current events. Whether they be good or bad moments in time, I do my best to put my own spin of vibrancy on things with unique color palettes.

Writer’s Block

Passionate responses to my work keep me motivated. The creative process is often a lonely one and to hear positive feedback once I’ve completed something is just as satisfying as a piece selling.
