What is your artistic process like?
My work blends stories, feelings and worlds together, but I don’t always know which one will start the process at first.
A Japanese quote inspired me, “If you do not enter the tiger’s cave, you will not catch its cub.” That developed into creating the artwork, then the jacket, then later the actual ‘Tora” comic character. I think there is a story in my heart/noggin’ that pushes its way through and runs itself across art, fashion, comics and poetry.
