TVHead ATX is a stealthy street artist by night.

If you’ve walked around the city at all, you’ve probably see his original hand painted wheat paste designs ranging in size from 3 to 8 feet tall.

Read more about TVHead below and view their work in print in Issue 22 “Something New.”

I’m probably most notably known for my thought provoking street art, but my art exceeds that definition in many ways.

I see myself as a visual artist breathing new life into vintage television sets by adding cowhide and longhorns or mannequin body parts that become tv sculptures.

My tools range from spray paint to charcoal, from acrylic to concrete, and everything in between.

I remain an anonymous artist with a strict code that keeps him in the shadows creating works of light and color in fervor.

My influences include Sid and Marty Krofft, Edward Bernays, Jack Kirby, Frank Lloyd Wright, Elaine Sturtevant, and Tim Burton.
